A Trip To Algonquin

My trip to Algonquin Park was nothing less than a memorable encounter with nature’s marvel. The colorful cluster of trees and pristine lakes testified to the miracles of the profound creator. The vivid landscape along with tranquil water lakes was a refreshing treat to the eyes.

The journey is as beautiful as the destination.

·       Oldest and most popular provincial parks in Ontario, it is also one of the largest stretching across 7,630 km 2.

Visitors require permits to enter for the day or camping.

Located close to the major cities of Toronto and Ottawa, it offers easy access to the province’s splendid rich nature.  Lakes, rivers, dense vegetation, and not to forget a chance to witness moose, and many species of birds, the park provides endless possibilities for outdoor adventure.

Canoeing and kayaking

It is the ideal destination for water lovers. Whether you choose kayaking or canoeing, the experience in the lakes will leave you asking for more. With more than 1,600 km of waterways, it’s a perfect paddlers’ paradise. While we rented a canoe, many got their boats which they loaded on their car rooftops.

Moose watching

The moose is an iconic symbol of Algonquin Park. It is one of the best places to get a glimpse of these majestic creatures. Moose are known to be more active in May and if lucky you might get to see them drinking in roadside ditches. Early morning is the best time to spot moose in the summer.
